This Cornish Pasty really is a winner – after placing in the top 2 for the last 3 years at the World Pasty Championships (winning Gold in 2017!) – something we are very proud of. This is our original pasty, and to be a ‘Cornish Pasty’ must comply with PGI rules. It consists of potatoes, swede and onion- and of course the steak! We traditionally use trimmed skirtbeef. This cut of beef produces a rich gravy during the baking process, thus ensuring (alongside our secret pepper seasoning!) a genuine flavoursome Cornish Pasty.
